Most inserts will fit medium to large Pocket Bot nappies and pocket wraps (our trainers, small pocket nappies and pocket wraps are best stuffed with one or more microfibre cloths - available cheaply at most supermarkets).
We sell two types of insert - hemp jersey and bamboo terry.
The hemp inserts are single-sized and designed for medium, medium long and large nappies.. These insert is made in the UK from 6 layers of hemp jersey. Hemp is an ideal fabric for inserts as it is highly absorbant so does not have to be too bulky to be effective. Hemp is very ecologically friendly - it requires no pesticides to grow (unlike cotton). Hemp is also naturally antibacterial - a good choice for nappies.
The bamboo terry inserts are hourglass shaped and come in two sizes small (for small pocket bots) and medium/large for all other sizes. Again, made in the UK they consist of three layers of bamboo terry which is similar to cotton terry towelling but much softer. Bamboo has the same anti-bacterial and ecological advantages as hemp but has the additional benefit of being softer (particularly useful if you live in a hard water area).
For light-wetters a single insert should be sufficient, whilst two are recommended for heavier-wetters or extended periods. A top tip is to fold a microfibre cloth on top of your inserts to further increase performance.
