Nappy Fabrics and Accessories

If you would like to sew your own nappies, wraps or other items such as changing mats or nappy bags this is where you can buy the things you need. We stock plain waterproof pul available by the metre or the nappy cut (enough for a single wrap or nappy) and also printed pul (nappy cuts only). Also available is microfleece and suedecloth fabric (by the metre or nappy cut) perfect for nappy linings, plus foldover binding elastic and aplix (hook and loop fastening similar to velcro but softer).

In terms of quantity 1m of aplix hook (and the same of loop) is enough for around 3 nappies/wraps. Remember you will need both sides of the tape for fastening. Most nappy and wrap patterns require 1-2m of elastic trim. Plain pul and fleece/suedecloth fabrics are approximately 1.5m wide. A metre length will make at least 4 large nappies/wraps and up to 8 small.
